Rain and Mosquitos

Is that possible? Yes, Week 8 of League was all about the rain, mosquitos and missed putts by hitting the basket and not the chains. Played a round with Chris Teeple, Kris P, Braden and Ethan. Kris P shot the lights out and rarely missed a putt from just about anywhere. He had his old beat up Epic out and was crushing it. Eagle on 16! Oh, the same hole I went OB. Nice. Day 3 of Disc Golf and it is Week 6 of League

Monday evening and we are playing week 6. The Hawg is away and Duff and I worked the “gate.” Decent turn out for an excellent evening. A little tired of throwing the plastic all weekend but still managed an even score. Zach Newhouse was on my card and aside from a weak finish on 18 shot an amazing 50 (to my 63) Played with Bevan, Zach, Braden and his son Ethan. Royal Hawg Summer League

Week 5 and I am playing with Kelly Sereda and The Hawg himself Pat Hergott. Mostly just an average round for all three of us but NO wind and NO rain. The final few holes turned out to be sunny and perfect. This was Round Two for me and boy I need to improve as well as attend all the rest of the nights if I hope to place! DRM Summer League Round 3

Ok, round two for me at Summer League and round 3 for the league. Much better round for the second time playing. Only one real critical mistake. Hole 15 took a 3 putt like a bone head. No problem. I will recover and play better next week. Full Card this time. Pat, Sean, Kelly, Scott Bennie and Devon Drury. Very nice weather.

David Richardson Memorial

First Round of DRM Summer League put on by good buddy Pat Hergott and company. I have decided I would like to support this league so I guess my Monday’s are going to be busy for the summer! First round and first impressions. It is windy on the ridge. Nice course with a bit of everything. I do think there is a critical mistake. A couple of basket placements are such that you are throwing RIGHT at the next Tee. This can and will be problematic during tournament play. Shot a 71 and can definitely shoot better.
