My first ever Night Owl and the first time I have been to a new course called Eagles Landing north and west of Edmonton.  Private Land but people are allowed to camp and play.   Played the entire weekend with Duff Rooney and James Morton and only Saturday with Brad Beer.

Friday:  Test round with Duff.  Shot great and I figured for sure the tournament would be all about birdies.  Ha!

Saturday:  Windy and cool.  Not cold but not warm.  Not nearly as much fun as the night before.  Duff kept it together and shot great.   I lost my Avenger SS on hole 17.   Saturday afternoon the wind was howling and playing across the field for hole 16 par 5 was just plain nasty.   Not sure I ever want to do that again especially since my main driver was lost.

Sunday:  Better weather but still breezy.   Best round of the weekend but not quite good enough to make a difference.  I finished 3rd out of 4

Oh well.

I really liked the rolling start times.   Everyone starts on Hole One and we head out in our groups every 6 minutes or so.

Discgolfblog was fortunate enough to be sponsoring a hole in this great tournament!
