Second Round of 2021
A warm windy day but better than sitting around at home. We played from the Red Tee’s and the round was nothing special as the wind really affected some of the shots. Jay (-6), Sean (-3), John (-3)
Lets start 2021 right!
We kicked off 2021 with a round from the Reds! Strangely there was little wind and mild temperature. Jay (-9), Sean (-4) and Murray (-3)
End of 2020
What a crazy year. March 17th and the Province/Country shut down due to COVID-19. In May I moved out of Calgary and set up camp in Koocanusa and begun playing disc golf in Fernie, Cranbrook, Sparwood, and Elkford. July saw the first tournament of the season in Lethbridge. September was the annual Aspen Meadows tournament. October Pat Hergott and I travelled to Vernon/Kamloops for a week of disc golf. The rest of the year was many rounds in Lethbridge. Oh, and we played on the last day of the year!
Rain and Mosquitos
Is that possible? Yes, Week 8 of League was all about the rain, mosquitos and missed putts by hitting the basket and not the chains. Played a round with Chris Teeple, Kris P, Braden and Ethan. Kris P shot the lights out and rarely missed a putt from just about anywhere. He had his old beat up Epic out and was crushing it. Eagle on 16! Oh, the same hole I went OB. Nice. I am convinced I can not play a round (when it counts) at DRM without throwing at least 1 OB. On top of that I managed 5 putts in a row hitting the basket and falling to the ground. 7 of […]
2019 Lost Egg – HOT!
Once again EJ put on a great show and this year the weather cooperated the whole weekend. No rain so no mud so no sliding and falling I played all three rounds with Chris Teeple and two rounds with Rod Pfeifer both are fantastic players and fun to play against. Well maybe not Teeple 🙂 I struggle in the second round and that allowed Rod to jump into second place. The race was still on until he hit an Ace on hole 15. Way to go and nicely done. So, I guess I have to settle for 3rd place and I am ok with that. More on the tournament page
