We played yesterday and it was the beginning of February so today it occurs to me that I should set a disc golf goal for 2021. I intend to play at least one round in every month of the year. I intend to play at least 2 rounds on 21 different courses this year. Well, so far, I have 2 of 12 months and 1 of 21 different courses.
Bridge City Gunners AGM meeting (virtual due to COVID) was today and of course I read the report. One gem I found in the report was a reference to a new tournament Sponsor. Horizon Discs. I decide to check them out and as it turns out they are local to Lethbridge and being the good Samaritan that I am (ha!) I purchased a brand new disc. A Blue 167-169 gram Paul McBeth Hades. What a crazy year. March 17th and the Province/Country shut down due to COVID-19. In May I moved out of Calgary and set up camp in Koocanusa and begun playing disc golf in Fernie, Cranbrook, Sparwood, and Elkford. July saw the first tournament of the season in Lethbridge. September was the annual Aspen Meadows tournament. October Pat Hergott and I travelled to Vernon/Kamloops for a week of disc golf. The rest of the year was many rounds in Lethbridge. Oh, and we played on the last day of the year!
